BUILDING PEACE IN THE BATHROOM

Some stories take months to finish because they just don’t have enough of a news hook – or because we freelancers get distracted or take on full-time work elsewhere. I am glad I didn’t get around to updating my story until this month- days before the Kenyan elections. It gave me a better chance to really showcase the peace work of some very forward thinking, entrepreneurial women in a Nairobi slum.
